home alone & bored so I took a few pictures of my rubber duck. :)

i'm so glad it's summer. the weather has been really nice lately. i've been sick for the past week or two, but i'm getting better. i think it's almost gone now (was just a cold). moved out of the dorm monday and filled out applications online for food lion and family video haha.. not many job options in this town. i'm living with my parents for the next 10 weeks or so. moving into my new apartment august 2.. back in greensboro. :) i'm excited.

spring is so inspiring.
seeing all of nature's creations
urges me to make some of my own.

i need a good camera
and a good macro lense.
i want to take photographs of insects.

they're so small,
but they have the most intricate details
and minute differences between species
that make them so interesting.

simplicity can be intriguing.

most people just stay too busy to really notice.

i need to buy a new sd card for my zoom (sound recorder).
i think i broke the old one.

i got a haircut yesterday,
my hair's short again.
i need to dye it but i'm procrastinating.
i think i'll do it soon.

going to linzae's show tonight (at 7).
i'm kind of excited. i haven't seen linzae in a while and i haven't been to a coffee shop show in such a long time. i like small shows like that: the intimacy of them, the atmosphere. they seem kind of nostalgic in a way.
i hope the coffee is good. :)


i want to visit japan.
and i want to learn japanese.

i don't have too much to say right now, but i just made this account yesterday and i feel like i should give some sort of introduction in case some people reading this don't know who i am. introductions are kind of awkward when you aren't sure who you're talking to, but i just filled out the about me section, and i think that pretty much covers all the basics, so if you haven't already go check that out i guess. there are links to both of my myspace pages there as well if anyone's interested (music & personal pages).

i never really planned on making a buzznet account until the other day, but now that i have one i'm hoping to keep it updated with everything i'm doing, and creating, and all the things i'm working on at the moment. i'm not really sure what all that includes, mostly music and photography, maybe some other artwork if i feel like anything i've made is worth sharing. i'll try to upload videos with some of my songs sometime [soon hopefully] and pictures that i've taken.
basically, i'm planning on using this account to showcase [and promote] anything/everything creative that i do.
